MowKart, the meaning of life...

As a kid, I love to get messy fixing things...

I have wanted to make my own Go Kart ever since my first trip to the USA where I driven a track GoKart, great fun, a holiday to remember.
I kept pestering my dad if he had any old car parts that he will never need (he restores old Messerschmitt bubble cars), but he told me that he will need most of them, and that it would be a lot of work to make all of the parts fit on a custom chassis, since a lot of them have special fittings.
He reccomended I pick up a rusty mower with no deck really cheap, because it already has axles, engine and drivetrain.
I got myself a rusty but free Murray mower. Just what I needed. No deck, rusty body, flat tires.
I don't have any pictures of it when I got it, the oldest photo I have was after a few of the modifications...

My brother painted it for me, he did a great job of it!

It still needs a lot of work, the belt keeps coming off.
More pics to come whenever I get around to doing something on it!
